The free preview period gives you access to the full platform using its mobile app, desktop app, and its web player. According to the company:
“Heading into 2018, we’re looking forward to giving TIDAL members more access and a high-quality soundtrack to everyday life. We value what music and music culture means to people and trust this preview will give music fans a taste of the elevated music experience that TIDAL is offering its customers.” Tony Gervino, Vice President, Culture & Content
Excellent sound quality
That is how PCMag described Tidal. It also rated the service to have exclusive backstage content and long-form editorial pieces.
Unfortunately, the service has a limited variety of audio content compared to its competing services. But the company continues to evolve. It has an excellent streaming music service that provides high-quality audio. It also offers updates on tickets to hot concerts.
Tidal plans to release new content. It includes playlists, live streams, and original shows. Plus, users will get the chance to win free concert tickets.
But the company is not the only music streaming service that offers a promotion this month. Spotify, for instance, has a promotion that gives its users a year of Premium for only $99. Typically, this plan costs $10 a month. By taking the promotion, you will get to enjoy two months for free.
Google is also offering a 12-day Play promotion that provides deals across movies, games and more up to January 2. Amazon, on the other hand, will have its Digital Day on December 29. This annual promotion provides savings of up to 80 percent that covers games, movies, eBooks and various digital goodies.
On another note, Tidal made its debut on Android TV, while Pandora updated its app to offer new features. It took a long time for Tidal to introduce its service on Android TV. But it has been available for Apple TV for quite some time.
Despite its late debut, Tidal is the only music streaming service that offers lossless streaming audio. On Play Store, the company also describes its service to have the ability to stream high-resolution concerns and music videos.
The 12-day free access will give you time to decide whether or not such service offers value to your listening habit. Since you are not required to enter your credit card details, you do not have to remember to cancel it once the 12 days are over.
