What are Snapchat geofilters?

How does it work?
Creating an original geofilter is easy. Simply use your image editor in creating a filter.
To help you get started, you can use Snapchat’s templates that are compatible with Photoshop and Illustrator.
After that, choose a geofence, time, and dates where you want the filter to appear. Submit your work and you’re done.
Snapchat will review your work within one business day.
To date, the site’s users have already submitted almost a million geofilters. The company also revealed that Snaps with geofilters are viewed millions of times per day.
Birthday Video Cam
On another news, Facebook introduced a new feature that lets you send a more personalised birthday message to your friend. Dubbed as birthday video cam, the social networking site announced on Monday that it’s launching this feature that lets you record and share a 15-second video on your friend’s wall for his/her birthday.
When your friend is celebrating his/her birthday, go to his/her profile. You’ll see a banner at the top. It’s an option that you can click to create a video for that friend. After recording a heartfelt message, you may customize it using birthday-themed frame before you post it to your friend’s timeline.
