What’s in your photo gallery?

“My S9+ sent my entire photo gallery to my girlfriend last night while I was sleeping. Last night around 2:30 am, my phone sent her my entire photo gallery over text but there was no record of it on my messages app. However, there was record of it on tmobile logs. Why would this happen?” – Reddit user

It’s just one of the many users on Reddit who complained about this Samsung phone bug.

The phone manufacturer is said to be looking into this matter. However, there’s no clear explanation as to why it is happening. It’s also unclear if these photos are sent without any record or log.

The bug, however, isn’t widespread yet. Then again, a small number of complaints are already flowing over Samsung forums. This bug is showing up on some Samsung phones, like the Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S9.

Some experts postulate that it originates from the SMS messaging protocol to the new Rich Communication Services on the Samsung texting app. Although Samsung is currently working on a solution, it didn’t give its users a cause of it.

“We are aware of the reports regarding this matter and our technical teams are looking into it. Concerned customers are encouraged to contact us directly at 1-800-SAMSUNG.” – Gizmodo

T-Mobile, on the other hand, is not taking responsibility.

One solution to this bug, as suggested by Gizmodo, is to revoke Samsung Messages’ ability to access storage. It can help in preventing the Messages app from sending photos or files on your device to random people.

Iconic S Pen Change

Meanwhile, Samsung is set to change its iconic S pen, according to this submission. The new S pen can be integrated with Bluetooth. It’ll be the first time to have such functionality. It’s a critical modification from the past S pens. This new function will open entire new opportunities. The new Bluetooth S Pen can control long-range timers. It could also playback music while being completely independent of the Galaxy Note 9. In other words, it could work like a digital pen on a presentation clicker. Or you could use it with other Samsung devices, such as laptops, smart TVs, and wearables. Truly, it would be sky’s the limit.

With that functionality, the S Pen might have a tiny battery. Because of that, it will be heavier than its predecessor. However, Galaxy Note 9 has a huge battery. In that case, it won’t be difficult for you to charge your S Pen. The S Pen will provide the Note 9 a huge difference from Apple’s massive new iPhones.

For many years, the company is providing its consumers with smart strategies. It also continues to deliver high-quality products. Because of that, its quarterly shipments of smartphones dwarfed Apple’s.

Samsung keeps on providing its consumers with large displays while Apple clung to the same screen sizes. Even though its products aren’t the most affordable on the market, Samsung does show real value in its items. Consumers are purchasing a device that can easily match an iPhone at the same price value.
