Samsung Galaxy Nexus has finally landed in the UK but only in a limited number of retail stores as others wait for stock to come.
The Galaxy Nexus’ arrival marks the debut of Google’s latest mobile operating system, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, in the global market, and all major UK telecoms carriers are offering the handset tethered to a two-year contract while a SIM-free version is set to appear starting next week.
The Carphone Warehouse offers a free Galaxy Nexus attached to a two-year contract with Orange UK that starts at £36 per month.
Phones4u has the handset in stock already and selling it both online and at brick and mortar stores.

The smartphone is in stock at uSwitch with various deals for each major carrier, starting at £31/month for a free Galaxy Nexus.
Clove will be first to offer the latest flagship handset from Google without contracts at a price tag of £515 on November 23.
Amazon UK lists the Samsung Galaxy Nexus at £520 contract-free but set to arrive on December 2.
