Motorola Mobility has announced its plan to bring the Milestone 3 Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone to Latin American shores this spring after it launched in Brazil on Monday.
The Milestone 3 essentially is a Droid 3 with HSPA+ onboard; as such, it features 1 GHz TI OMAP4 dual-core processor, 16 GB internal storage memory and 512 MB RAM, which enhanced multitasking capabilities, faster loading times for Flash and Internet browsing, and an improved gaming experience.
It sports a 4-inch touchscreen display at 540 x 960 pixels (qHD) resolution that offers a better visual rendering of images, videos and Web pages, and comes with a five-row physical QWERTY slider keyboard for an easier messaging experience.
A good selling point for the Milestone 3 is the enhanced security features for corporate emails, documents and calendars.
Capturing photos and videos on the go will not be a hassle for its 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with flash and digital zoom, alongside a 1.3-megapixel front camera for video calls.
With up to 1080p at 30 fps video playback support, playing videos on large TV screens is a breeze via HDMI.
This Milestone 3 landed in Brazil on August 29 and will arrive in other Latin American countries on September.
