Motorola has introduced the new version of its 2011 flip phone with the Motorola GLEAM+, a slim and sleek folding handset that bets on a very consumer-friendly price.
The Motorola GLEAM+ features a 2.8in WQVGA (400 x 240 pixels) main LCD display, an external 144-LED display and a small 2MP fixed-focus main camera enough for daily photography needs.
The handset’s internal memory is a mere 50MB but can expand up to 16GB via a microSD card slot.
It has an FM radio and a 3.5mm audio jack, with connectivity options revolving around the Bluetooth 2.1 and USB 2.0 technologies, all of which complete the short list of highlights for the Motorola GLEAM+.
The phone will set back consumers only €99 SIM-free when it hits shelves this March with its silver and winter white variants.
“The Motorola GLEAM+ is as a stylish and easy to use as ever for the consumer who enjoys the simple things in life, without compromising on design and functionality,” said Claudia Laepke, Marketing Director of Motorola Mobility Germany GmbH. “We designed this handset with a clear focus on delivering a great experience in a simple, sleek and stylish design.”
