After revealing that it will showcase the world’s largest-ever OLED TV at CES 2012, LG has followed it up with news that it will also display a massive 84-inch 3DTV with an equally massive display resolution at the upcoming show.

According to LG, it will showcase alongside its OLED TV at the upcoming CES 2012 an 84-inch ultra definition TV with a whopping resolution of 3,840×2,160 pixels.

This means that it is four times the resolution of those HDTVs you regularly see.

The resolution of the new LG TV is classed as 4K and it also boasts a built-in 3D engine which converts standard two-dimensional video into 3D video.

The LG TV’s 3D engine will also let users control the 3D effect using the 3D Depth Control feature.

This LG TV will also have an advanced sound rendering system which lets users situate themselves anywhere they want in the sound stage of the TV using only the displays two built-in speakers.
