Leaked documents currently point to a February 21 release of the BlackBerry PlayBook 2.0 operating system, a new report from Engadget says.
The leaked documents from which “BlackBerry PlayBook 2.0 launches Feb. 21st” can be clearly read is in line with a previous report from PCMag where BlackBerry senior brand manager Jeff Gadway said that the PlayBook OS 2.0 will be launched later this month.
The timing of the revelation from Gadway pointed then to a launch of the BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 at the upcoming Mobile World Congress but the leaked internal documents courtesy of Engadget say otherwise.
The Mobile World Congress 2012 will be held in Barcelona, Spain this coming February 27 to March 1.
Meanwhile, many PlayBook users are awaiting the new PlayBook 2.0 OS as it will come with a native email client and better BlackBerry Bridge functionality, as mentioned by Engadget.
Furthermore, the launch of BlackBerry Mobile Fusion is also said to coincide with the release of the PlayBook OS 2.0.
