You all know by now that Apple has a new super high-end smartphone. iPhone X is the future of the smartphone, according to Apple. And many of the rumors that circulated the past few months turned out to be true. Now let’s dive into the many specs and the most exciting features.

Jony Ive, Apple’s chief design officer said about the new handset:

“For more than a decade, our intention has been to create an iPhone that is all display. The iPhone X is the realization of that vision.” “With the introduction of iPhone ten years ago, we revolutionized the mobile phone with Multi-Touch. iPhone X marks a new era for iPhone — one in which the device disappears into the experience.”

All-screen design

The new phone has the Super Retina Display in order to match the all-screen design. And it’s all glass. Front and back. For some, this may cause some trouble about the durability but this will show in time. Also, iPhone X is water and dust resistant. And, let’s not forget that there is no Home button. If you are an iPhone fan this may feel a little bit weird at first.

The Super Retina

The 5.8-inch Super Retina is the first OLED panel with amazing colors, deep blacks, a million-to-one contrast ratio and wide color support. And the addition of “True Tone dynamically adjusts the white balance of the display to match the surrounding light for a more natural, paper-like viewing experience”.

Meet Face ID
This new feature will allow users to unlock, authenticate and pay with their face. The TrueDepth camera system is responsible for that and it is equipped with
a dot projector, infrared camera and flood illuminator, and is powered by A11 Bionic to accurately map and recognize a face. Now, if you think that a photo or mask will fool the system guess again. And all the data from this system will go be uploaded in the cloud.

Cameras

The smartphone features the 7MP TrueDepth camera and a redesigned 12MP rear camera with dual OIS. And another change is that the back camera is placed horizontally. According to Apple: “The new camera in iPhone X features a larger and faster sensor, new color filter, deeper pixels and OIS for capturing vibrant photos and videos with more detail.” in addition the new camera also delivers the highest quality video capture ever in a smartphone, with better video stabilization, 4K video up to 60fps and 1080p slo-mo up to 240fps.

Give life to emojis

The users of the new phone will have the chance to send Animoji messages that will mirror their facial expressions. Now, this is a very cool feature. Thanks to the TrueDepth camera you will able to bring emojis to life since the camera can capture and analyze 50 different muscle movement.

A11 Bionic
Inside the phone you will find the A11 Bionic, the most powerful and smartest chip ever in a smartphone, features a six-core CPU design with two performance cores that are 25 percent faster and four efficiency cores that are 70 percent faster than the A10 Fusion. Also the neural engine inside the chip is built for machine learning, augmented reality apps and immersive 3D games.

If you want to own an iPhone X then you can pre-order it from Friday, October 27. It will available in stores November 3. The starting price is $999 and it has two version: one with 64GB capacity and one with 256GB..
