First launched in Brazil via Vivo on Sept. 12, the ZTE Skate comes with a large 4.3-inch 480×800-pixel TFT (thin film transistor) capacitive touchscreen display, 800 MHz single-core processor, 512 MB RAM, and weighs only 148g.
Named after its 11.35-mm skateboard-themed design style, the ZTE Skate also runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and offers a user-friendly UI with pragmatic and potent multimedia capabilities.

Spain received the handset on Sept. 16 through local telecoms operator Telefonica, and the device traveled to Hong Kong yesterday (Sept .23).
The ZTE Skate will eventually rollout to other international markets with France and UK in Europe; China, Indonesia, and Malaysia in Asia; and the United States.
