YouTube CopyRight School's Russell

YouTube has launched a video depicting what it feels about copyright infringement and piracy by its users and have presented a video depicting exactly what can happen if such an event happens.

The video shows a fictional character Russell is Pirate attire and is related to users uploading content to which they do not have any rights. The video also mentions some distinctive forms of copyright infringement which people often think as not to be piracy.

In the video, YouTube also familiarizes its users with fair use of copyright content and deems how it can be used fairly on YouTube or any other site. YouTube explained its copyright violation system and user’s appeal system also. As is widely known, YouTube offers its users up to 3 uncontested copyright infringement claims, after which the account is banned, for life.

The video depicts all these violent and dangerous notions to the users in a funny manner using the cartoony pirate like character, Russell.
