Yelp Rewards is an offer to Yelpers who support local business. By visiting a local spot frequently, you can earn money. Even when you check out new stores, you can still get a reward from Yelp.
The Yelp Cash Back is the latest method of the company to attract more users to use its program. The rewards you get has a drawback, however. To participate in its cash-back program, you need to give up your financial information to the said site.
If you do not have an issue with that, you can participate in Yelp Cash Back and receive up to 10 percent cash back each time you dine in at participating restaurants. To check on those locations, you can use Yelp’s search bar and use the term “cash back.”
How To Join?
Joining the Yelp Cash Back program is free. All you have to do is go to “yelp.com/cashback.” Then, enter using the Cash Back link. You need to link your credit or debit cards. Once you have linked your card, you must use it at a participating business to get your cash back.
Even though the company says you get up to 10 percent cash back, some locations are only offering 7 per cent.
“Businesses offer Yelp Cash Back as a way to attract and retain loyal customers. Customers get an immediate benefit — money, direct to their bank account every month, with no minimum! Forget about juggling a dozen loyalty program accounts and skip the hassle of punch cards and coupons. What’s not to love?” – Yelp Blog
Empyr powers the cash-back program offered by Yelp. It is a card-linked platform that works with other companies, such as Microsoft and Facebook.
Currently, the program is limited to restaurants.
“Today, Yelp Cash Back is available at a variety of restaurants and bars across the US through our partnership with Empyr. There are tons of great options in New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Chicago, and more. Just search for “Cash Back” on Yelp to find those nearby. We’ll be adding more types of businesses soon so that Yelpers can get cash rewards on even more kinds of local purchases. Cash Back isn’t available for online orders or food delivery — so make sure to use your enrolled cards when you head out to dinner or do your holiday shopping!” – Yelp
Bad Reviews On Yelp
Yelp is one of the many trusted websites online that allows users to post bad or good comments of a particular business. Earlier this month, a nursing student from Texas won a lawsuit against a law firm. It started when a drunk driver hit her. She sought the help of a law firm, but she was unsatisfied with its service. She said that the firm’s team was super unprofessional. When she complained about it on Yelp, the company threatened her with a lawsuit. But she was unfazed. She did not delete her negative review on Yelp. In the end, she won the case.
This online review site is indeed a useful place where you can leave positive or negative feedback about a company that may help other individuals to get to know the business.
