Xbox One S is the newest member of the Xbox family and is slimmer and smaller
In less than a month gamers will have a new addition to their collection! We are talking about, the Xbox One S. Microsoft announced that the game console will hit the stores on August 2. Xbox One S is the most compact game console yet. Actually it is 40 percent smaller than the original Xbox One, and includes a built-in power supply.
Besides the smaller and slimmer design it is the only console that allows you to watch Blu-ray movies. Also you can stream video in 4K Ultra HD with High Dynamic Range. In other words you can watch your favorite movies and show in the clearest video possible. And now imagine this technology with video games. We bet that playing games like Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, and Scalebound with HDR will be a truly spectacular experience!
Xbox One S also comes along with the new Wireless Controller. The controller features textured grip and improved Xbox Wireless signal. For easier wireless connection to your Windows 10 devices, the controller has Bluetooth support. As for the hard drive you can choose between three versions. You can have 500GB, 1TB or the special launch edition 2TB.
The limited 2TB launch edition Xbox One S will be available in select markets starting early August for $399 USD, with the 1TB Xbox One S for $349 USD and the 500GB for $299 USD arriving thereafter. The Vertical Stand will also be available for standalone purchase for $19.99 USD. You can purchase the controller as an individual item for $59.99 USD. It will also be available on August 2. All Xbox One games, accessories and Xbox Live services will work with Xbox One S.
If you have pre-ordered your own console you will get it on August 2 and. For those of you haven’t ordered it yet, you can still pre-order a 2TB launch edition through microsoftstore.com. Keep in mind that the availability is limited and demand is really high, according to the Xbox people.
The 2TB launch edition Xbox One S will be available in limited quantities for $399 USD on August 2 in the following regions: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UK and United States. Xbox One S will also be hitting store shelves for additional markets later this year.
