The next-generation gaming console from Microsoft, popularly being nicknamed he Xbox 720, may already be in production.
Citing an unnamed source, gaming news site IGN has reported that the Xbox 720 is now being produced in a Flextronic facility in Austin, Texas.
According to the publication, Flextronic has previously assembled a secret testing group for the Xbox 720, one which has been isolated from the rest of the company.
Apparently, this team “was solely dedicated to comprehensive marketing, software, and hardware tests of the next Xbox,” the site says.
This team also appears to have finished testing these aspects of the next Microsoft gaming console so production has started on it.
The original Xbox as well as the Xbox 360 were assembled by Flextronic.
Nonetheless, Microsoft has denied that it will debut the Xbox 720 at the upcoming E3 conference so the launch and later release of the console will not be anytime soon.
