WordPress Blogger? Facebook Makes You Direct Transfer. (Image via Celebuzz)
After boasting the fact that it lets you publish the content of your pages built with WordPress on Facebook in a few clicks, Facebook today introduced the reverse. A new tool will help you easily post content from Facebook to a post on a WordPress blog.
The application available at https://developers.facebook.com/wordpress/ offers web designers a perfect tool for cross-publishing. With an extremely friendly user interface, the application does not require any programming skills and allows publishing a single post simultaneously on WordPress and Facebook Timeline – personal pages, or on Facebook Pages – business pages.
Developed by engineers at Facebook in collaboration with a team of Open Source specialists, the new plug-in is the fastest solution to create your site in a more social format. At a simple look, WordPress has 16% of all Internet content, and Facebook wants to become the Internet representation for 900 million users, as part of the partnership between the two does not seem exaggerated.
The same plug-in offers a feed of activities among others. If integrated into a WordPress site, the plug-in allows visitors to see what their friends have done without leaving the page. There will also be an integrated recommendations window based on the content of the personal Facebook page of the one who visited the website, which will display suggestions for interesting articles.
Implemented properly, such a system could become a very useful tool for developers of websites that don’t really cope with the social networking part. Unfortunately, socially speaking, we live in more active web than a few years ago and if such changes are not made, many pages tend to disappear into thin air.
