An image of the Verizon ATIV Odyssey, the newest Windows Phone 8 smartphone from Samsung to be headed to Verizon, has been leaked.

The image of the alleged Verizon ATIV Odyssey was leaked by @evleaks on Twitter on Monday.

The Verizon ATIV Odyssey will be the first ATIV Windows Phone 8 smartphone in the US made by Samsung.

The Verizon ATIV Odyssey joins the recently announced Nokia Lumia 822 and HTC 8X on the Verizon Windows Phone 8 portfolio.

When Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer talked about Windows Phone 8 as the new mobile operating system was released in October 29, he revealed that the ATIV Odyssey will be coming in December.

However, he did not have a photo of the device then but unveiled a standard-looking outline of a smartphone.

Based on the photo from EVLeaks, the Verizon ATIV Odyssey is not a very high-end device.
