Twitter users were reporting a delay in posting of their tweets and a blank page with the title “@anywhere boosh” that was appearing throughout the day.  The problem seems to have affected a small number of users.  Twitter updated its status page to report that it had fixed the tweet delay problem at 4:38 p.m. UTC time on February 16^th.

Websites other than Twitter that use its API were also getting directed to the blank page and users reported delays on Tweetdeck and other clients. Twitter updated its status page again at 3:09 UTC on the same day to report it had also fixed the blank page problem.

Users noted that the link for the text that says “You can still access old Twitter for a limited time here” now points to an error page, and speculate that the technical problems were related to a possible move of all Twitter users over to the New Twitter.
