The eagerly awaited pyrotechnics display in Dubai will be streamed live to millions of Twitter users across the world as 2017 is ushered in. Twitter, in conjunction with a partner based in the MENA region, will stream the fireworks in Dubai on Saturday night.

New Year’s Eve Stickers
Still on the New Year celebration, Twitter is bringing its users much fun with the introduction of stickers. The New Year’s Eve stickers can be attached to a photo that shows scenes in Dubai, London, New York, Paris, Rio, Sydney, Tokyo and New Delhi, reports Mashable.
Stickers on Twitter are searchable [which makes it slightly different from what you have with Facebook and Snapchat]. To use the stickers, simply tap one on mobile or click on desktop, which opens the site as well as a feed of photos that include specific stickers. You will be able to use the New Year’s Eve stickers until January 3.
So go out there and have yourself some fun, and don’t forget to drop us a comment on how the whole thing went. We want to hear from you both on how the Dubai fireworks event went and how you were able to wish your loved ones a Happy New year with the Twitter stickers.
