Twitter is about now working on new ways to localize your content. This new way being tested will allow you to choose the content you want to see; especially those things happening around you. You will be able to personalize trends for you based on your location and who you follow.
The test was spotted by no other person than Jane Manchun Wong, and subsequently posted a screenshot showing the new update. Once this is launched [if it ever gets launched], you will be fed with more with local or customized content.

I suspect it is a way to serve you with only those content that will be of interest to you, or what good is a trending section that serves you no good? If Twitter wants people to keep enjoying the platform, then changes like this has to be made—and hopefully this makes it to a global roll out and we can get to see it soon too.
We really do not know how close this is to being launched, but going by Jane’s previous records, we can only say be hopeful. She has an almost impeccable record when it comes to calling these updates and features long before their official launch.
This past week, Twitter confirmed a new feature we reported about a couple of weeks ago. The feature, one that will allow you drag and drop your pictures before posting your tweets is already rolling out to some users and should be available to all pretty soon. The drag and drop feature was first spotted or shall I say uncovered by no less a person than Jane Manchun Wong. Jane posted the screenshot showing the new feature via her Twitter page—and now that has been confirmed to be true by Twitter.
The ability to rearrange your pictures before hitting the “tweet” button on Twitter was confirmed by the microblogging company on Tuesday. This time, it was announced with a GIF showing exactly how it works.
Twitter users have been anticipating this feature for a while now—and there are chances that the feature could become an instant hit once it becomes widely available to everyone. The drag and drop feature will make it very easy for you to compose your tweets. You will be able to rearrange your uploaded images in the exact order that you want it.
It seems the feature is being added by popular demand as responses to a screenshot of the new feature as posted on Twitter by Jane Manchun Wong suggest. Reactions of her followers have been nothing but positive.
Shortly after Twitter announced the ability to rearrange pictures before posting tweets, users besieged the microblogging platform to plead for the addition of the “edit” button. The demand for this feature has been on for a while now—hundreds of users of the service has been calling for it, and not even the announcement of the drag and drop feature could appease them.
