Twitter on Tuesday rolled out several improvements to embedded tweets.
According to the social media site, embedded tweets now have more content and context, have lesser loading times and are easier to embed on other sites.
Twitter Product Manager Brian Ellin says that embedded tweets are now better at displaying included photos, videos, article summaries and other content giving them more context.
Furthermore, embedded tweets now more accurately display retweet and favorites stats apart from the new “easier to read” design.
Whereas in the past, it took a longer time for embedded tweets to show up on a site they are included it, Twitter says that they now load faster than ever before.
Embedding is now also easier with a shorter method to do it.
In the past, you had to click Expand, then Details before being able to click the Embed button.
Now, all a Twitter user has to do is to click More and then click Embed Tweet for the embedded tweets short code.
