Toshiba has taken the wraps off its new tablet, the Thrive 7, its second tablet in the market.
The 7-inch-screened Thrive 7 tablet is very identical to its older 10-inch Thrive brother both in looks and in components.
However, its AutoBrite LED backlit screen is worth the mention as it packs a resolution of 1280×800 pixels, the kind of resolution 10-inch tablets have for their displays making the Thrive 7 the highest resolution tablet on a tablet yet.
The Thrive 7 is powered by an dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 mobile processor and has 1GB in internal memory.
The new Toshiba tablet runs on Android 3.2 Honeycomb and features a 5MP rear-facing camera and 2MP front-facing camera.
Ports of the device include a Micro HDMI port, a headphone jack and a Mini USB port. For those who want to add more memory to the 16GB and 32GB Thrive 7 internal storage, there is a microSD slot for external memory.
Toshiba says that the Thrive 7 will be available this November.
