In fact, 62 percent of marketers say that social media has become more vital to their marketing campaigns within the past six months.
More than 80 percent of small to medium-sized businesses plan to increase social media use this year.
So where are these businesses putting their trust in the social media landscape?
Worldwide, 87 percent of companies have a presence on Facebook and Twitter. Over 50 percent use YouTube and LinkedIn while over 33 percent use Pinterest or Google+.
It is no wonder then that it is projected that the global social commerce revenue will reach $30 billion in 2015.
