Yes, that’s right, one of the best Android superphones can now be bought from Amazon for just a penny.

That is, however, if you are prepared to sign a new two-year contract with Verizon Wireless.

Nonetheless, this deal is not bad at all as the Samsung Galaxy Nexus still remains as one of the top Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich phones out there.

Add to that the fact that it’s pure ICS you’re getting and you have a great deal. This is particularly better for those who don’t want their Androids coated with user interfaces like Samsung does with TouchWiz and HTC does with Sense. The Verizon Galaxy Nexus is a “pure Android” experience.
