In a bid to take on YouTube and at once invest in overseas assets as well, Yahoo Inc. is discussing acquisition of video hosting site Dailymotion.
The news comes from the proverbial “people familiar with the talks” who told The Wall Street Journal of the development.
According to the publication, Yahoo may acquire as much as a 75-percent stake in Dailymotion.
