Sharp may boost the output of one of its new display panel factory to near-full capacity as early as the end of this year, a new report says.
The information comes to us from the Yomiuri newspaper through a report from Reuters.
According to the newspaper, Sharp may increase output of its Kameyama Number 2 plant to near 100 percent in the coming months.
Currently, the plant, which makes indium gallium zinc oxide (IGZO) displays, has an output that is just 30 percent of its full capacity.
