Microsoft Corp. has filed a new lawsuit against TiVo in a United States International Trade Commission court in Seattle, various reports say.
According to Reuters, the lawsuit claims that TiVo’s program time guide, schedule grid, remote interface and program delivery system infringe on patents owned by the Redmond, Washington-based company.

Eastman Kodak Co. said that a judge of the United States International Trade Commission (ITC) has initially determined that the patent claimed by the company to have been violated by Apple Inc. and Research In Motion Ltd. (RIM) is invalid.
The initial determination issued by the ITC judge strikes a blow to Kodak which claims that Apple and RIM violated a mobile phone camera patent it holds.
