The Nokia 803 may come equipped with the largest-ever camera sensor to date, a rumor coming from Boy Genius Report details.
According to BGR, they have “been told that the Nokia 803 will feature one of the largest camera sensors — if not the largest camera sensor — ever seen on a mobile phone.”

2011 Global Handsets Shipments Top 1.55Bn – Research Firm

There was modest growth in global handsets shipments for the previous year but it did not stop the market from shipping more than 1.55 billion handsets for the last 12 months.
