Google Removes Malicious Apps From Android Market

Google has removed some harmful apps from the official Android Market, reports CNET. These apps were allegedly having malware capable of compromising data, according to Lookout. Nearly two dozens of such apps were removed by the Google.
Lookout estimates nearly 30,000 and 120,000 Android devices to be affected by these malware.
