Facebook pages to become shopping outlets

The Palo-Alto based social networking giant Facebook  is partnering with startup companies, vendors, and even its internet competitors to transform web pages into shopping outlets driven by their Friend’s recommendations, or ‘Likes’.  Facebook is increasing its efforts to convince companies like J.C. Penny or Delta Airlines to sell their products on its pages, tapping into its more than 500 million users.
