Verizon Wireless on Friday has suspended early sales of its widely-anticipated Apple iPhone after making record sales on Thursday.
According to the US carrier, the suspension will be effective until 3 a.m. Wednesday next week after it stopped taking orders 8:10 p.m. Thursday.
Reports say that Verizon is yet to reveal how many orders for the smartphone were placed during the brief two-hour period early Thursday when it began early sales.
