Apple may phase out the iPad 2 from its lineup following the release of the fabled iPad Mini, an analyst predicts.
The forecast comes from Rob Cihra of Evercore Partners who said that the move makes sense for Apple, AppleInsider reports.
In a note to clients, Cihra said that releasing the iPad Mini may mean the end to the iPad 2 which is the lower-priced iPad as of the moment.
