Google and Apple Gain On US Smartphone Market Share

Google with its Android mobile operating system and Apple with its iOS-powered iPhone lineup have gained over rivals during December to February, new data says.
The data comes from comScore which says that Android now has a 50.1 percent market share in the U.S. smartphone arena followed by iOS which has a 30.2 percent market share.
This means that Google has gained 3.2 percentage points in the U.S. smartphone market share race while Apple has gained 1.5 percentage points.
