Google will have to thank Apple and its iPhone and iPad for kicking in two-fifths of the total mobile profits of the internet search and advertising giant for 2012, an analyst is estimating.
According to Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster in a note to clients released yesterday, the Apple iPhone and iPad will generate about $1.6 billion of Google’s total mobile profit for 2012.
