comScore has recently released data that showed 181 million (about 84.5 percent of all) Internet users in the United States viewed almost 37 billion video content in the Internet for the month of April alone. Moreover, around 20 percent of the videos viewed online were video advertisements that amount to about 9.5 billion videos.

ComScore released data yesterday that implies that within March 2012 alone, 46.9 million German Internet users accessed video content online, which is 2.3 percent higher than last year. What’s more, the average time spent by viewers watching videos on the Internet has also increased by 33.7 percent over the year.
