The Apple iPad is dominating the Chinese tablet market amid strong growth of the niche in the country.
That is according to data from research firm Analysys International which reveals that the iPad had the lion’s share of the Chinese tablet market at 71.4 percent.
This is as the tablet market in China booms, Reuters reports. The market for tablets in the country saw a boost of 62.5 percent.

China Telecom To Sell iPhone 5 This Quarter

China Telecom will be offering the iPhone 5, the company has revealed.
According to The Wall Street Journal, China’s third-largest wireless carrier by subscriber base will be selling the iPhone 5 in the weeks to come.

Apple Earnings Call: iPad Mini Profit Margin, Microsoft Surface Bashing, No 7-Inch iPad

Aside from detailing a solid ending quarter for the fiscal year, Apple also revealed a trove of information during its earnings call on Thursday.

Foxconn Riot Leads To Temporary Taiyuan Plant Closure

Foxconn, the world’s largest consumer electronics contract manufacturer, was forced to close its factory in Taiyuan, China after a riot broke out at the facility late Sunday.
According to various reports, Foxconn is saying that the riot was a personal brawl between a few workers which escalated into a full-blown riot.

China Labor Watch Fires Another Round At Samsung For Alleged Sexual Bias

After China Labor Watch (CLW) accused Samsung of labor violations in China, the labor watchdog group has again fired a round against the tech giant as it now says Samsung sexually discriminates against workers in the country.
