RIM Combines BlackBerry OS And QNX In BBX

Research In Motion (RIM) has already unveiled its new mobile operating system called BBX.
According to the company, BBX OS uses the best of both BlackBerry and QNX, but will come to smartphones and tablets, and will feature backward compatibility for BlackBerry OS 6 and OS 7 mobile apps.

Google’s Android OS continues its meteoric rise in the U.S. smartphone platform market to widen the gap over mobile operating system iOS from Apple, research firm comScore’s reports.

Android OS Dominates Smartphone Platform Market At 54 Percent

Android OS still leads the smartphone platform market but now so dominant that it nearly doubled the share of second-place iOS, the latest Millennial Media Mobile Mix reported on Friday.
