New Yahoo Stake Bid May Soon Come From Microsoft Consortium – Report

A new bid for a minority stake in Yahoo may soon be made by a consortium which Microsoft is a member of, a new report from Reuters reveals.
Citing an unnamed “source familiar with the matter”, the news organization says that the consortium which counts the software giant Microsoft, private equity group Silver Lake and venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz is working on a new bid for a minority stake in the once-dominant internet portal.
