TAG Heuer has announced the launch of its new model of mobile phone Fuchsia MERIDIIST GMT , which will complement the female line of TAG Heuer MERIDIIST. Fuchsia MERIDIIST will appear on the shelves in the first half of 2011 at TAG Heuer showrooms and authorized sales outlets worldwide.

The distinctive feature of this new luxury phone is the finishing of its battery cover with exotic skin of water snake, which is for the first time used in the MERIDIIST collection. The skin used is of acrochordus arafurae, a water snake from New Guinea and northern Australia. This Fuchsia MERIDIIST will have a classical housing made of polished and glazed stainless steel 316L with contrast fuchsia finishing.

It must be recalled that the first models of MERIDIIST for women were encrusted with diamonds. The most luxurious model is decorated with 1,232 diamonds totaling 7.4 carats, its light variant with 208 diamonds weighing 1.3 carats. The rear panel of the phone is made of white alligator skin, but in September 2010, this collection was complemented with new models, one of which has a unique body made from python skin with gold plating.
