After HTC nearly delaying its launch, T-Mobile has revealed that the myTouch 4G Slide will be released this month.
The news comes via T-Mobile’s Facebook page where it revealed through a post that the myTouch 4G Slide will be released on July 27.
The myTouch 4G Slide has been much anticipated because of the T-Mobile announcement that the slider phone will have the world’s most advanced camera in a phone.
It’s not so much a battle of megapixels, however, as the real advantage with the myTouch 4G Slide camera is its image processing abilities.
The myTouch 4G Slide has built-in filters so users will not have to process their image through other software to attain a desired effect made by a filter.
The myTouch 4G Slide also packs in a formidable set of specs. It has a 3.7-inch WVGA Super LCD display, a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon CPU, Sense 3.0, a 4-row QWERTY slide keypad, 8MP AF camera capable of full-HD 1080p video capture, and a dual LED flash.
No definite pricing plans have yet been released for the phone. The myTouch 4G Slide will be powered by Google Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).
