SAP has teamed up with HP for the cloud distribution of its customer relationship management (CRM) software using HP datacenters, allowing customers to scale the app on demand.
The German software firm said that CRM rapid cloud deployment is an initial step to several services scheduled to launch from its partnership with Hewlett-Packard, one of the world’s largest IT companies.
SAP ecosystem and channels head Kevin Ichhpurani said that the company continues its commitment to offer solutions in software deployment and cloud computing-based innovations.
With the help of HP’s cloud distribution system, SAP can provide its clients with a safe and dependable approach to basic and fundamental business apps, and controlling “hardware and management costs” of companies as well, he added.
SAP claims that its rapid deployment solutions provide a well-developed software and services collection with a fixed price, deploying faster than in-house counterparts do and completing within a two-month period.
The company collaborated with Verizon Wireless under a similar agreement using the latter’s datacenters to deploy the cloud version of SAP CRM.
