Bixby by Samsung was launched in the US in July 2017 as a way to enable people to get more done with their smartphone. The app allows you to access latest sports headlines and live scores, including major leagues in countries like England, Germany, Spain, Italy and the likes. To access your favorite sports news item on Bixby, simply swipe right on your home screen to the Bixby Home service.
You will be able to personalize your favorite sports experience by choosing the teams and the leagues you follow through on the main app. You can change the settings to reflect your tastes through theScore’s onboarding flow in Bixby Home across most carriers, or through the Bixby Home settings. Tapping on theScore’s content card on Bixby will take you to theScore app if you already have it installed on your device—and of course, this will give you access to more information beyond a score or news headline.
Bixby was the first of its kind in a Samsung smartphone—and users are able to use smart assistant in so many different ways. Users are able to complete tasks like taking screen shot, taking selfie, and asking the voice assistant to turn on the flashlight. The voice assistant will also be able to complete some other difficult tasks, including creating photo album of all the pictures they took previous week and calling it “Vacation,” and subsequently sharing the same with their loved ones.
You can enable Bixby voice-based capabilities on the Galaxy S8 and S8+: Users in the US can enable the voice assistant by pressing the Bixby button. As soon as the software is updated, you can activate Bixby by holding the dedicated button on “Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ phones, or by simply saying, “Hi, Bixby.”
