The Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 seems to have taken a page out of its older brother’s book as the next-generation Samsung tablet was listed on the QVC website on Monday only to be taken down swiftly.
First noticed by PhoneArena, the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 was listed for a price of $310 ($309.96 to be exact).
The posting of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 follows an eerily similar posting of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 on the Office Depot website last week.
According to PhoneArena’s snapshot of the page on QVC showing the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, the model which was posted was an 8GB version of the 7-inch slate.
It’s powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is Wi-Fi only.
As for the real unveiling of the Galaxy Tab 2 line of tablets, Samsung has announced that they will be launched late in April as the South Korean tech giant is still tweaking its software.
Perhaps Samsung is not yet satisfied with the way TouchWiz works on the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.
