Samsung’s new Galaxy S III is a feature-filled gadget.
The Galaxy Y was the number one selling phone in the last holiday season. Now, Samsung aims to continue to be the top choice among consumers in terms of smartphones by launching the new Galaxy S III, a mobile phone that is booming with all sorts of new features.
It automatically dials an SMS sender or record on the contact list just by placing the phone near your ear when your hands get tired of texting.
This handset has a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display and is0.34 inchesthin. Unlike the other Android phones, Galaxy S III displays fewer content, which avoids taking up space and making the home screen an eyesore.
In addition, the new smartphone also features a pop-up player that allows video to continue to play in a small window while another app is running. More enhancements which are distinctive to Samsung include: Smart Stay – keeps the display lit when the eyes of the user is detected, burst camera setting with quality shots, picking up calls by hitting the Home key and ending calls by hitting the Power button, and shortcuts for screen lock which are modifiable for easy access to apps.
The New York Times personal technology columnist David Pogue wrote in his review on Wednesday that “…when Samsung wants to win, it doesn’t kid around.”
