After its launching event at last month’s IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 smartphone now has a price and release date to offer.
Clove, an online mobile phone retailer in the UK, has unveiled a £546 SIM free price for the 16GB Samsung Galaxy Note 2 smartphone-tablet hybrid.
The 32GB and 64GB have no pricing details yet, which means longer waiting time for these models.
Clove announced that the 16GB version will arrive in the UK starting mid-October, but declined to reveal an exact date for its release.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is a hardware and software update to the popular Galaxy Note smarpthone.
The second-generation Galaxy Note comes with a larger 5.5in Super AMOLED HD display, a 1.6GHz quad-core processor, an 8MP rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video, a 1.9MP video call camera, 4G LTE connectivity, Android 4.1 Jelly Bea – the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system, Samsung S Pen stylus, the latest TouchWiz UI, microSD memory expansion, and a 3100mAh battery.
Coming in marble white and titanium grey versions, the Samsung Galaxy Note will also be available through UK mobile networks O2 and Three for a new 24-month contract.
