Samsung has announced the upcoming launch of its second-generation tablet, Samsung Galaxy Note 2, at the IFA on August 29.

In an article provided by Reuters, a spokesperson from Samsung reportedly unveiled that the latest company smartphone will launch in Berlin on August 29.

“We plan to unveil the next Galaxy Note at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event in Berlin on August 29,” said Samsung.

Several other tech media hubs also reported that they received an invitation to the launch event, featuring a somehow similar image of a stylus, which is considered as one of the main specifications connected with the Samsung Galaxy Note.

Although Samsung has not yet responded to a request for confirmation, this suggests that the leading company’s latest innovation is on its way to the market.

The company also remained tight-lipped in the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, but many rumors lead to a theory that users can expect a larger 5.5-inch touchscreen, with a faster performing processor than the one embedded in the Samsung Galaxy S3, Google’s latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, and Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface. This gives a rather exciting innovation to look forward to, considering the company’s success in its Galaxy S3 handset.
