Google has promised that its revamped Google Maps ads will drastically improve its click-through rates.
According to Google, the Google Maps ads changes which will take effect this Friday and will boost click-through rates by 100 percent.
Part of the changes for Google Maps ads will include the ability of the service to open web pages within the maps browsing area in contrast to the old method of opening websites through another browser windows or tab.
Furthermore, the Google Maps ads improvement will also include larger and more clickable buttons for its revamped search feature. These buttons aim to make it easier to do tasks such as find directions or place calls.
In addition, a new blue hyperlocal marker will also be included in the Google Maps rollout this Friday to make it easier to know your distance to local businesses you may be searching for.
