The gaming console Neo Geo, which was popular back in the 90s, will be released again in December as a way of marking its 20th Anniversary.
The units will be for sale in North America, Europe, and Asian countries on the 6th of December and will be composed of the console, a portable version with a 4.3-inch LCD screen, a joystick, and also a roster of 20 games, which include King of Fighters, Metal Slug, and Fatal Fury are included in the package, collectively costing less than $200.
The re-release would be dubbed as the Neo Geo X Gold. Games on this console were always around and as a matter of fact, are compatible with IOS and Android apps, and are on sale at Playstation stores.
This release is aimed towards old-style arcade gamers. The console is manufactured and sold by videogames resellers SNK Playmore, and Tommo, with the stores giving out news regarding the re-release only to Retrogamingroudup.
According to the CEO of Tommo, Jonathan Wan, the re-released console will serve as a “love letter” to an all-time favorite gaming console of his, and with the help of SNK Playmore to obtain the license to Neo Geo, he aims to provide gamers with an arcade-style gaming experience at home and anywhere they want to.
