NEC Reveals Three Android ICS Handsets for MWC 2012

NEC is not one of the most popular phone makers not for the reason of poor product offering, but because of its Japan exclusivity.

This will soon be yesterday’s dream once the Japanese company launches at least three devices at the Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona next week.

Unfortunately, hardware and software specifications, and even the device’s names, are still unknown to the English world, as the source is in Japanese.

The nameplates found on the image means the trio will all be under the MEDIAS lineup of smartphones.

NEC touts one of the handsets on display as the “Best Cloud UX Device” and is a Sony Tablet P lookalike, another one is “Large Screen in One-hand” and the last phone is “The Most Stylish”.

The available info so far for all three NEC smartphones is LTE speed and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The devices appeared in a press conference held in Japan, but will arrive in Barcelona, Spain for MWC 2012 next week.
