The first musical flagship smartphone from the HTC stable has emerged from the fog of rumors. HTC Sensation XL was announced during a small presentation ceremony.
Many consider it to be an Android-version of the upcoming HTC Titan running Windows Phone. The phone features the same 4.7-inch display SLCD with low resolution of 800×480 pixels and a protective glass Gorilla Glass, Qualcomm MSM 8255 processor with 1.5 GHz and 16 GB of internal memory. The camera is also from Titan- with 8-megapixel BSI-matrix, auto focus, dual flash and aperture f/2.2. The battery capacity is 1600 mAh
But there is a nice distinction. HTC Sensation XL has been allotted 768 MB of RAM, and it has a separate digital signal processor for audio processing. Hip-hop producer Dr Dre’s ‘Beats Audio’ technology has been included in this smartphone. And do not forget about the cool headset urBeats (and upon order one gets the Beats Solo headphones).
Traditionally for the company, HTC Sense interface in the gadget has pretty well been improved and its slim all-metal 9.9-mm casing is made in a recognizable style and there is an additional logo on the back Dr.Dre. Another nice feature is the pre-installed service HTC Watch for shopping and viewing the multimedia content.
HTC Sensation XL is expected to be released by the end of this month or early November. Its price has not yet been announced.
