Motorola IRONROCK – First Multi-network Smartradio With PTT And Data

Motorola Mobility today launched the Motorola IRONROCK, the first multi-network smartradio to offer Push-To-Talk (PTT) and optimized data services.

The Motorola IRONROCK provides users with uninterrupted connectivity to networks through Nextel’s new technology platform, Nextel Evolution.

The dual-processor allows users to open webpages faster, play high-speed games and HD videos. Its asymmetrical design improves device performance, as each microprocessor need only the power required for running tasks — from phone calls to high-speed web browsing.

Motorola IRONROCK has a powerful 1.2GHz processor that allows users stay on top of business by quickly opening and editing documents, presentations and spreadsheets with its preloaded Quickoffice suite.

Motorola IRONROCK runs on Android and offers access to more than 700,000 apps available on Google Play, and features an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 1.2MP front-facing camera and a 4.3-inch high-definition screen.

Stay tuned for further updates on the handset’s availability and pricing information.
